It is probably the second project in which I am the owner and the designer. Compared with my own house, the office has to take care of more people and things. The working habits of different people, the working status of different departments, and even the collection of some artworks, all need to find a proper place for them, not to disturb each other but to take care of each other. This is how we understood the office and how we imagined it at the very beginning. A year after we moved in, we went back and tested the idea: whether it was the place we thought it was, whether it was the place we thought we were working in, and whether it had its own spirit of place. There are more things to consider, so the process is not entirely a purely egoistic design process.
大概是經歷自己當業主又當設計師的第二個項目了，與自己的房子相比，辦公室要照顧到的人和物會更多。不同人群的工作習慣、不同部門的工作狀態，甚至收藏的一些藝術品等，都需要在這里為他們找到一個恰當的、互不打擾又能顧此及彼的位置。這是最開始我們對辦公室的理解，以及對它的想象。搬入一年之后，我們再回過頭來驗證這個想法：這里是否是我們想象中的那個場所，場所中是否是我們想象中的工作狀態、又是否具備自己的場所精神等。需要考慮的東西更多了，那么其中的過程就不完全是一個純粹自我的設計過程。

The whole site is located on the 18th floor, with a total occupation of about 1600 square feet, and is a vertical splicing of two very narrow and long boxes. Following the original structure of the building, we made this middle area raised by the entrance into an open and shared public area. It bears the working demand of reception, meeting and discussion, but also contains the state of rest and relaxation such as western kitchen, coffee and water bar. More interaction, more sharing, where it is hoped that everyone can consider themselves as the master of this space. Based on the uniqueness of the floor height and landscape surface, we did not choose the conventional white interface, but set the interior for the natural fading of the black background throughout, giving the protagonist of people's sight to the wide landscape surface outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. At the same time, the uniqueness of the color and the reasonable construction of the superimposed material interface make the material itself become the individual that sets off and expresses in this space, and create the richness of the internal interface in the sense of power of the artwork.
整個場地位于18層，總占面約1600多平，是兩塊非常狹長的長盒子的垂直拼接。順著建筑的原始結構，我們將由入口抬升的這塊中間區域打造成了開放、共享的公共區域。既承擔接待、會議、討論的工作需求，也包含著西廚、咖啡、水吧等休憩、放松的狀態。更多交互，更多共享，在這里，希望每個人都可以把自己當成這個空間的主人。基于層高與景觀面的獨特性，我們沒有選擇常規的白色界面，而是將內部設置為了通體黑色背景的自然消隱，將人們視線的主角，讓給落地窗外寬廣的景觀面。同時，色彩的獨特性，疊加材質界面的合理構建，使材料本身互成為這個空間中襯托和表達的個體，在藝術品的力量感中，營造內部界面的豐富感。
A good office state may be different every day, there will be changes and traces of time. Like the entrance of the original stone wall, after a year, from the beginning of the completely wild and rough state, gradually began to show some signs of mottled; light in the different materials on the surface of the day after day, and left behind or fade, or darken the traces; even the growth of plants and withering, are in the change of time is delightful and sigh.
好的辦公狀態可能是每一天都是不同的，會有變化和時間的痕跡。像入口原石砌成的壁面，在經過一年之后，從剛開始完全野生粗糙的狀態，開始逐漸顯露出些微斑駁的跡象；光線在不同材質表面上日復一日的游走，而遺留下來的或變淡、或變深的痕跡；甚至是植物的生長與凋零，都在時間的變化中令人欣喜和感嘆。
A year later, I think it will be more convincing to come back to this office thing. We think it needs, first of all, to take care of the people and things in the place itself. The office is more of a public place than a private home, so it needs to be gentler, more humble, and more inclusive to solve some practical problems. What we see in one year is this, so in three years, in five years ...... I believe it will become more and more interesting as time goes on - with the growth of plants, the abundance of books, and even the creation of more communication and interaction - and that's exactly what we expect to happen.
一年之后，再來說辦公室這件事，我覺得會更有說服力。我們認為它首先，需要照顧到場所本身的人和物。相比于私宅來說，辦公室更像是一個公共場所，因此它需要更溫和、更謙遜，更具包容性地去解決一些實際問題。我們看到的一年后是這個樣子，那三年之后、五年之后......相信它會隨著時間的變化——植物的生長、書籍的豐富，甚至是更多交流與互動的產生，變得越來越有意思，而這也正是我們所期待發生的。
